Muro Ligero

Carcaixent, 2007

Silk feathers frayed by hand and nails.
400 x 200 cm.

Muro ligero is created from frayed silk organza fabric. Through a repetitive process, each of the pieces, whose silhouette simulates a feather, has been generated. One by one, the pins have been stuck into the wall, creating a parallel, almost invisible wall that can only be perceived with the light or the movement of the wind. It is an almost imperceptible presence, the ghost of a wall, which claims its silence, but at the same time wants to be present.
